Good Neighbors was founded in 1957 by Laura McClure and Frances Watson who collected clothing in their basements to hand out to those in need. The Green Good Neighbors unit opened in 1968 and is fully staffed by volunteers providing assistance to an average of 200 families a month. Good Neighbors Incorporated is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
